Getting Southwood Farm ready for the Christmas Fair

Over the past few weeks the countdown to Christmas has taken on a new meaning for the North Pembrokeshire team.  Our first ever Christmas fair opens on Saturday 13th December (10:30 am – 4:00 pm), with local stallholders using the farm sheds around the range.  We’ve had lots to do in bringing this together – not the least of which has been to complete the daunting task started in February 2013 to clear out and tidy up the range.

Just some of the waste that was left in the sheds, and has now gone.

With lots of help from our regular volunteers, several of whom will also help at the event, and Pembrokeshire College’s Army Prep students, we’re now almost there.  Here are a couple of interesting finds:

Site lighting and decorations, with Christmas trees from Little Milford wood, will go up over the next few days.  If you’re in the area on Saturday come and see for yourself what the finished results look like.
